JAQUIE BROWN

A celebrated actress and presenter, Jaquie is less well known for her incredible writing chops.

 

She's the co-writer of Cannes-nominated short film, a black comedy called Nothing Special. She has also penned a book which was a humourous take on pregnancy entitled I'm not fat, I'm pregnant! which followed her earlier guide-to-everything book - Jaquie Brown's Guide to Everything (and recipes and quizzes), offering comic advice on dating, cooking and how to avoid swans.

 

Her self-titled TV series Jaquie Brown Diaries won Best Comedy at the annual Film & Television awards in 2009 & 2010.
