Te Radar is the face of comedy and travel and sustainability in New Zealand. Off the Radar saw Te Radar's attempt at sustainable living, spending ten months living in a paddock.
The show rated highly, and led to the publication of an accompanying book written by Radar. The series was followed by a sequel, Radar’s Patch, which won the 2010 NZTV award for Best Information/Lifestyle programme, and then Global Radar, which won 2012 NZTV award for Best Information/Lifestyle programme.
The same year his Radar across the Pacific series won the Best Factual Series award. He quite likes cows.
